Vera Chan - Principal Occupational Therapist at Ray of Joy Speech Therapy

Vera Chan

Principal Occupational Therapist

Vera is a paediatric occupational therapist with over 14 years of experience across hospital, early intervention, school, and private practice settings. She supports children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, motor and coordination challenges, feeding concerns, and emotional regulation needs.

She is trained in Sensory Integration, SOS Feeding, DIR Floortime, and Circle of Security Parenting, and integrates these approaches to support each child’s regulation, confidence, and participation in everyday routines. Vera believes progress is most meaningful when it is embedded within the child’s natural environment.

Grounded in a family-centred approach, Vera works closely with caregivers and multidisciplinary teams to support consistent, meaningful progress across home and school environments.
