Felicia (谭业宁)

Principal Speech Therapist

Felicia is a speech therapist who finds joy in supporting children and their families, and believes strongly in the importance of early intervention and inclusive education. Felicia attained her Master of Speech Pathology (Distinction) at Curtin University, Australia, graduating top of her cohort and receiving the NCSS Social Service Scholarship.

Since then, she has worked with children aged 18 months to primary school age, providing assessment and therapy services for individuals with speech, language, and social communication difficulties, as well as neurodevelopmental conditions such as Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and feeding difficulties.

Felicia adopts a collaborative, family-centred approach to therapy, working closely with parents, educators, and other professionals to create meaningful, everyday opportunities for communication and learning. Her therapy style is strengths-based and child-led, celebrating each child's unique interests and abilities to build confidence and authentic self-expression.

She has also facilitated workshops and coaching sessions, equipping parents and teachers with practical strategies to support children in natural environments.

Felicia draws on her training in several evidence-informed programs, including DIR®/DIRFloortime®, PROMPT, 3-Part Oral Placement Therapy (for feeding and speech difficulties), the Hanen Learning Language and Loving It program, and the Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme (NDP3). She is also a Natural Language Acquisition (NLA)-trained clinician, supporting gestalt language processors.
