Joan has been absolutely incredible in helping my son with his speech development! She creates fun and engaging games and techniques to help him to correct his speech and also tailored a plan for us to practice at home. Her method of positive reinforcements and rewards, have helped my son stay interested and engaged, so he doesn't find it a chore to practice when we are at home. Joan is not only highly skilled with many years of experience, but also patient, kind, and excellent at keeping parents informed throughout the process and following up to see how he is progressing. XingRui served as a speech therapist for several of my students. In the two years that she worked with them, I observed the children looking forward to their weekly intervention sessions with her. She is a sincere therapist who adapts her sessions to meet each student's unique needs and comfort level. In one memorable instance, I saw XingRui meet my student's preference by joining him at a counter—rather than at the usual table and chair setup—as they worked together on speech sounds. For another student, he would occasionally tear up when faced with challenging tasks, including during speech corrections. And even though the therapy targeted the very areas he found difficult, he still looked forward to his weekly therapy sessions because of the strong rapport XingRui had developed with him. Joan has been instrumental in supporting my child in her speech therapy. XingRui is a patient and detailed-oriented person. I collaborated with her in providing Speech therapy for pupils in my school. She is serious about her work and cares passionately about the pupils under her charge. She not only works with the pupils but also communicates regularly with the teachers on how everyone can work together to support the children both in and out of the classroom. She also gives regular feedback to school and parents about the improvements the children have made and suggests strategies for continuing support to improve the children's difficulties.
